I support clients struggling with stress, anxiety and depression, chronic illness, difficult life transitions, heartbreak of grief and loss, effects of childhood, generational and relational trauma, and help couples and relationships resolve conflict, improve communication and restore trust. I love working with multicultural clients, and help people heal from religious/spiritual trauma and narcissistic abuse. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative and ADHD/Neurodivergence informed.
Some of my specialized studies and trainings over the years include: Brainspotting therapy trainings with David Grand, Ph. D., founder of Brainspotting; Dr Pie Frey, founder of the Rocky Mountain Brainspotting Institute and with Lisa Larson of Pacific Brainspotting. I am a certified NARM therapist for C-PTSD, relational and childhood trauma, I completed Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM®) Level 2 and Masters level trauma therapy training with Dr. Laurence Heller, founder of the NARM Institute and the author of "Healing Developmental Trauma". I studied interpersonal neurobiology and completed trainings with Dr. Dan Siegel, neuropsychiatrist and founder of the Mindsight Institute. I also hold somatic trauma therapy certification from Linda Thai and somatic nature therapy, ceremony and rites of passage certifications from Katie Asmus, founder of Somatic Nature Therapy Institute in Boulder, Colorado. I have lived experience with grief, death and end of life care, I am a Certified Grief Therapist, I trained with David Kessler, grief expert and the author of "Finding meaning, the sixth stage of grief" and with Roshi Joan Halifax of the Upaya Zen Center. I have done specialized trainings in Jungian psychology and dreamwork, and have been in Jungian analysis for over 6 years. I am Level 1 trained in Relational Life Therapy (RLT) with Terry Real and use this approach when working with couples and relationships.
I am committed to my professional growth as an integrative psychotherapist and continue to participate in trainings and clinical consultation groups to expand my skill and expertise.
I was born in Estonia and immigrated to the US in 1998. I have a degree in Mathematics from the University of Tartu in Estonia and a lifelong passion for exploring the inner landscape of the soul and the interconnectedness of art, science and contemplative practices. I hold Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles with a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. I am bi-lingual and provide therapy in both English and Russian.
My background is in holistic wellness, over the years I have trained extensively in both psychological and spiritual methodologies and practices, including Trauma therapy, Jungian and Somatic therapy, Council, Nature/Eco therapy, Art, Yoga, Kashmir Shaiva Tantra and Vedic Sciences, mindfulness and meditation.
My life and work are strongly informed by my studies with Jennifer Welwood, my beloved Teacher of integrated spiritual/psychological work. I am profoundly grateful to Shantala Sriramaiah for her generosity and wise guidance in my ongoing studies of the Indic Knowledge System, Veda theory and Veda recitation, to Steven Highburger for the opportunity to study Jyotish and Hasta Samudrika with him, the living disciplines of Vedic Astrology and Vedic Palmistry, to Dr. Robert Svoboda for his vast knowledge and wisdom he so generously shares, and to many teachers, guides and dear spiritual friends whom I have been fortunate to meet and journey together with on a path of Self knowledge. As a lover of Nature, I bow in deep gratitude to the beauty of Creation which makes my heart sing and takes my breath away every single day.
